Won-tolla nodded. "Take my hands, err, paws then." After a moment's hesitation, Mark grasped the proffered limbs firmly, and suddenly it seemed like the whole library was spinning around him.
When he got his bearings again, he and the wolf were walking down what seemed to be a totally different aisle towards someone lying on the floor.It was a knight, pinned down by the weight of an extremely thick book that seemed to grow as he kept turning the pages.

"That is the true Neverending Story," Won-Tolla explained. "Ende's novel was just a small subset of it. This is the real thing - the pages appear as you turn them, and disappear again once you have read them. But when you're just browsing..."

Mark nodded. "Got it. And I think I've got an idea too."

"Good," said the wolf.
