Calming Things Down

It's really rather funny to see the affronted expression on Chiana's face when the new proto-Dark Elves separate for long enough for my name- sake to mutter, just loud enough for her to hear: "Damn prude." I'll bet that no-one ever called her that before! I manage not to burst into a fit of the giggles, which wouldn't have helped the cohesion of our group any. Besides, I appreciate that Chiana had originally spoken mainly out of regard for the feelings of Allan and Mina who, because of their Victorian upbringing, have been more than a little disconcerted by Fertal 5 and Artizza 5's enthusiastic clinch. I don't suppose that they have ever seen anything quite like it. The two "bawdy girls", on the other hand, look rather as though they might be making mental notes on kissing technique for future reference.

"Er, I quite understand your enthusiasm," I tell the two newest arrivals. "After all, I'm a proto-Dark Elve myself, just like you. But there are things that we need to discuss, Such as whether you would like to join our group or would rather go off and do your own thing. And also we'd like to learn something of your history, up to the point at which we rescued you...
