The Never Ending Quest - Episode 54489

A sprawling farmhouse welcomes them with dozens of friendly people, most of them middle-aged. They are swept inside, into a typical farmhouse, except it is far, far larger on the inside then the outside. Wooden beams criss-cross far overhead. Several staircases lead off, some up, some down...some other...
The women are trundled off to get normal clothing. Fred insists on an explanation before he accepts much of the bounty foisted upon him. A small elderly woman in blue robes explains they are the Anti-Dragon Resistance Movement and the farm is a disguised stronghold used to battle the dragon's influence. They had latched onto the magic used in forcing Fred to draw the naked women and had teleported the foursome here. Fred briefly sees Velus romping with several mutts in a corner.
Fred asks why the King did not tell him of the Anti-Dragon movement. He would have joined up. The woman, who calls herself Deera, thinks for a moment.

  1. She says the King should have told Fred....why he did not is a mystery.
  2. None of the Anti-Dragon forces trusted the King.
  3. The castle was bugged six ways to Sunday, the A.D. forces had to be careful.
  4. The King knew...that is why Fred and his friends had made it here. The court magicians had implanted A.D. friendly magic deep into Fred.
  5. Deera brings out proof that the King and the Dragon are in cahoots on many, many different schemes.
  6. Deera brings out proof the Dragon IS the king.
  7. Deera claims the King and the Dragon are in cahoots but has no proof.
  8. A dragon-spell hits the house. Astra and Ardua, stunned and half-dressed, fall into the main room. The house had sacrificed the dressing room as a magic-sheild.
  9. The king does not know, the A.D. forces hide themselves twenty years in the past.
  10. The A.D. forces keep to themselves, so the dragon could not pick hostages. Well, he could, but if the A.D. worked with specific civillians...
