After a few days, the body disappeared from the room. The duke was understandably upset about this, as it had become quite the conversation piece, and set the local necromancer to finding out what had become of it.

  1. A dark cult snuck in in the dead of night and appropriated it for unspeakable purposes.
  2. The mad scientists' guild came in in broad daylight and took it, having been mistakenly told that the duke was finished with it.
  3. The necromancer had taken it. He needs to find someone to blame...
  4. Shiunji Watanabe has it, and frankly you don't want to know what he's doing with it.
