"Nyahahaha!!" laughed the skeleton on the throne. "Have you returned to
steal more of my treasures then?" Amy shrieked and jumped back, instinctively drawing her sword. "You never told me he was so... so animated!" she told Nigel. "Sorry." Nigel blanched. "I guess I am a bit absentminded when it comes to these things." "Know ye this." the skeleton on the throne said, grinning evilly. "Though I am confined to this crypt and cannot even rise from my chair, dark and terrible magicks are at my command. Last time did I curse this venomous lizard, when he undertook to rob me of my precious mirror. And now shall I curse the both of you, thrice as strong, for my anger hath been simmering this past year entire - unless you return my mirror to me!" "Look here, old chap." Nigel scoffed. "Like I told you last time, I just dont believe in all that fairytale nonsense. Curses dont work on me and neither should they work on Amy." "Um, I'm not too sure about that." Amy said. "This is a world of magic and wizards after all. Haven't you been paying attention, Nigel?" "Quit prattling amongst yourselves, ye jackanapes, and give me back my mirror!" the skeleton said darkly. "Or I will most certainly call down the wrath of Hell to destroy you!" "Why don't we just carry you outside?" Nigel said. "Maybe some fresh air would do you good, you old coot." "Nigel!" Amy snapped. "That is a terribly rude thing to say!" "Actually, it could be a jolly good idea." the skeleton said after a moment's thought. "If you take only my skull along, I could... advise you on your travels. But Amy must wear me on a chain around her neck at all times. That would go a long way toward repaying me - for leaving me without my scrying mirror for a whole year!" "You're nuts! Don't do it, Amy!" Nigel said.
