"So you weren't dead then?" Astra asks, in a desperate effort to maintain continuity.

"No." replies Fred.

There is a long pause, as if Astra is waiting for Fred to say more and Fred is waiting for Astra to say more.

Eventually Astra speaks "Well, you're up there with Paul McCartney and Mark Twain now!"

"Who?"

  2. Astra tries to explain who Paul McCartney and Mark Twain are. Unfortunately she gets them mixed up with Dick Cheney and Bubbles the Chimp
  3. "Why did you just ask me if I had been dead when we had already discussed it about two minutes ago?"
