Staring Death in the Face

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 5334

Rich draconic laughter rings through Fred's skull. "Oh, but it is happening" says the voice in his head. "This is as real as anything ever gets. This is your death, Lord Fred!" And with that, the dragon opens wide its immense mouth, preparing to breathe its killing flame and seal Lord Fred's fate!

  1. With a massive effort of will, Fred is at last able to break the spell!
  2. Fred closes his eyes and prepares himself for death.
  3. "Wait!" cries Fred, desperately trying to think of a way to convince the dragon to spare him.
  4. Suddenly, something strikes the draon from behind!
