Sheer Confusion
The Never Ending Quest - Episode 5302

All was confusion in the mind of Fred. He remembered his travels to the
Southern Caves; he remembered his discovery of two cave entrances instead
of one; he remembered walking through one of the entrances and following a
tunnel deeper into the mountains; he remembered finding himself in a
cavern filled with a strange light emanating from a floating Book and a
necromancer beside it; he recalled how the mage had said he would only use
his magic for a fee and then change his words offering to take him into a
forest for free. Fred berated himself for falling for such a stupid lie.
Yet his mind was still confused as to where the forest had come from. Had
they exited the caves? Is the forest some strange overgrowth underneath
the mountains of the Shreken? Fred did not know. But he did know that
the necromancer was none other than the Dragon! and that he escaped the
dragon by the skin of his teeth. But now he found himself in still more
queer surroundings: the throne room of a castle! (where did this castle
come from?) And even now the strange elf-creature with an over-sized
crown was giving Fred an evil look and Fred knew he had to escape. But
how?
