As it turns out...

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 51931

"Hm, that should be an interesting encounter between them and our newest Companions," B'Elanna's husband, Elrondir mutters softly.

How very true....

Down in the landing pad the "girls in gray" had been discussing their discussion that they'd had with Inquirer. While the mechanical lass had been sympathetic, she had said in the end it was up to them whether or not they decided to stay or go. She would not and could not make the choice for them (much to their disguntlement). Yes, she at least did them the favor of helping to hash out in more detail each side of the arguements for staying and going, but in the end it was STILL going to have to be them to make the decision, damnit!

Still, if Chi and Aeryn Pip DID stay it would be . . . interesting. See, before they'd had the impression that the one who'd become their teacher in magicks (a subject that called to them because it was so . . . neat) would have been Sigin and Sigin alone. Not so, in actuality. Already, the dragon mage had his hands full with all the apprentices he already had. However, it was revealed that because of their rather rapidfire advancement (many times quicker than what a comparative dragon apprentice would have been able to accomplish) the Doctor and Inquirer would be tapped to teach them!!

Not unheard of, but an interesting development.

They had been discussing that (what it would be like) to have those as teachers ("Drad" being the most often used word in this discussion) when while in deep discussion, walking, they run into Allan and Mina (who had gone for a bit of fresh air) AND Count Yorga and Alicia John!

Just as well, since they still weren't sure what their decision would finally be, but still....

Chi, the youngest (relatively speaking) of the group makes a small slip, mentioning in passing something about Mina, Alicia, and Yorga having "something in common".

That gets some glares from her "older" sisters (who know that this might have been something akin to a "foot in mouth" situation) and questioning looks from the others who have "something in common".

Who knows, maybe the parties in quesiton wouldn't WANT to discuss this without some warning and briefing beforehand. You know, to avoid embarrassment and possible confusion?

  1. "Please, what would that be, Lady Chi?" Yorga finally asks, curious.
