In a jungle clearing were a bunch of wooden huts, many of which were on
fire. Every now and again, one of the humans that were running about would
collapse, unmoving. The reason for the devastation made itself known when
it appeared from behind the largest hut at one end of the village. It was
a mottled-coloured Dragon. "What is that thing, el-tee? Some kind of dinosaur?" shrieked Billy. "I don't know, Weston, but I believe it's our duty to try and kill it," Fred replied much more calmly. "We must try and-" He was interrupted by the sound of firing. Billy was aiming wildly in the direction of the Dragon. His aim was way off, and all he succeeded in doing was getting its attention. It flew towards them, breathing flame all the time. They succeeded in retreating back into the jungle without being burnt though they could feel the heat from trees and other plantlife catching fire mere metres away.
