"...aniy-als-adelaar..." Fred whispered, and the amber stone began to
shine. There was an instant of sharp, flaring pain like he had never
known before, and then quite suddenly Fred had become an elf. He felt a
quickening of the senses and mind, as if he could now grasp knowledge of
magic and philosophy no ordinary human could dream of. His thoughts began
to grasp the secrets of creation and of metaphysical objects related to
the physical world. But most importantly, he had elf ears. "Cool!" Fred
laughed, but he quickly realized the downside of his transformation - his
sword and armour felt slightly heavier, as elves had lower physical
strength than humans. Still, it was nothing he couldnt get used to. "Ah a high elf, excellent choice sir," chuckled the red box. "Well now, run along. I'm sure you have things to do, dragons to slay and such." "I can't leave you down here!" Fred said. "You deserve a better life than this." "Hoho, bad idea!" the box laughed. "I can't tell you why, but taking me from this place would be most unwise on your part." Fred uses his elven intellect to decide what to do next.
