through Fred's brain. He had always wanted to be an elf, ever since the
first time he saw one as a kid. The way they moved so elegantly and carried
themselves as if royalty (though the fact that the first elf was the elven
king could have something to do with that last part). Or he could become a terryfying panther. Set fear in the heart of many, besides if he was a panther, moving through the dungeon would go much faster and effortlessly.
