"Well, one of the books that I've been reading suggested that..."

Fred interrupted her. "That's the second time that you've mentioned books. But what are books doing in these caves? It seems very odd."

"I'll show you them, if you like."

  1. Fred is sufficiently intrigued to agree.
  2. Fred decides that going to look at some books isn't going to help him find the dragon but will just cause delay.
  3. Fred asks Selene what the book that she mentioned has to say concerning how to find a dragon.
