Astra is not happy about this. First, she ends up in the Staircase Room.
After trying and failing utterly to get anything out of Scott (he passed
out watching TV and drinking beer) she came down the stairs. Finding Josh,
she knows he is the worst of the lot, but she needs help bad. So very bad.
Why? Astra needs help because Lord Fred is being held captive by the Children of Ungoeth. Only a chaos-nexus or Author can do battle with the UnRaveller's children. So, if Scott cannot be coaxed, then Josh it must be. She just considers herself fortunate that Belboz owed her a favor and had a line on a Staircase Nexus. She has the little charm that will bring them back. All she has to do is touch him. Josh turns around, and sees a fully clothed Astra. He drops his comic in shock. "Astra!" he says, and then she hugs him. "Ahh..." he says, his mouth gaping open. He is so happy, hot girls never hug him. But then, just as he begins to get suspicious, reality swirls around them, and they appear in a cave in front of an old gnarled necromancer. "Ah, Astra, you have returned" says Belboz, but then sees Josh. "Ugh. Burbank? You couldn't get Scott the Destroyer? HE gets pretty sane when away from the Tower for a while. This one, however, well.. " and then he makes a motion by his temple indicating that Josh is pretty messed up in the brain. Josh does not get this, but then again, there you go. "Yeah, Childers was passed out." says Astra, "but i did drop by the multiversal mall and get me some new outfits using your Tower Card." "Wha.. you... i..." sputters Belboz. "I just got that!" and so it continues
