The Never Ending Quest - Episode 50845

Fred hesitated. He realised that to kiss Astra first might get him into trouble with Anne, and vice versa. The solution, he decided, was to gather them both into an embrace, with their heads so close together that he could kiss them both at once.

Unfortunately he was a little over-vigorous, and there was a "clunk" as the heads of Astra and Anne collided. He managed to kiss them both simultaneously as he had planned, but when he released them from his embrace they both slumped to the ground unconscious. "Oops!" he said, looking down at the two figures dressed in identical wedding gowns (or as identical as the difference in their physiques allowed). For Astra had with difficulty been persuaded that full plate armour wasn't really appropriate for the occasion.

When the women regained consciousness:

  1. They were forgiving.
  2. They were furious.
  3. One of them was suffering from amnesia.
  4. Both of them were suffering from amnesia! Fred thought that it would be amusing to tell Astra that she was a milkmaid and Anne that she was a princess.
