Exotica slowly felt her back, and then screamed. She waded through the
water back to dry land with great haste. Oddly enough, when she removed
ehr body from the water, she felt a tad dizzy and awkword, like this
wasen't quit the place she should be, but it dissapeard in a few
seconds. Both of the Fred's hadn't a clue of what to say. Both just
stood their giving her sympithetic and 'We told you so' looks. Three
three of them just stood their for who knows how long until Exotica
finally broke the silence. "OK, so maybe crossing the stream wasn't really the best idea, but all it did was cause me to grow a few scales. We can still cross it". "Not a chance!" Both Freds answered in horror. "You might have been lucky to only grow scales. Who knows what else that water could do. Maybe it turns you into anything. It might only spare woman and kill the men (After all, dragons love to keep maidens). We've taken too many chances already. Come, let us find another route over the water" said only the old Fred this time. The two Freds turned around to leave, but Exotica stood her ground, now staring at the water enviously. She felt like the land was like the sun on your person on a 100 degrees day and the water like shade and, well, water. "I can't" she said, with a hint of sadness in her voice. "I won't be able to go long without the water". Once again, nobody spoke for a long while until new Fred broke the silence. "I've only heard a little about a curse like this. The water feels more like home than the land, doesn't it?" She nodded. "Well then, you probably wouldn't even last an hour on land". He gave a long sigh. "I'm sorry princess, but we're going to have to leave you".To their suprise, she didn't even protest. She just gave them one last sad look and said "I'll use this to my advantage and see what is beyond the stream" and then turned and jumped into the water (Which felt like the her first breath of air) while the two Freds did the same. "Odd" thought Exotica, as she felt her back again. "I could have sworn these scale hadn't been here before". Now that the group is slit, who shall we follow?
