Bob nearly dropped dead at that statement.
”Dragon’s cave?! Not anymore! Didn’t you hear the news?!” ”Obviously, she hasn’t she’s been in a lamp for God knows how long” said Brandy, rolling his eyes. He and Bob were close friends, but sometimes Bob’s ignorance baffled him.”Oh yeah! I forgot that. The news is, the dragon is gone! A knight named Fred something like that, came in, and killed it.” (“Sir Fred” Brandy corrected him”) Without warning, the red jewel attached to her began to shine a vivid red light, lighting up all dark corner of the room. The light showed so bright that the boys were forced to shield their eyes.Swiftly, the light began to cease, the boys, and a bit of blinking, were able to look in her general direction again. ”What was that?” yelled Bob. His voice was filled with a combination of fear and excitement (And a bit of arousal. You must remember the genie wasn’t wearing any clothing).”Yeah! What did you do?” yelled Brandy. Unlike Bob, his web of emotions was weaved of fear and anger. ”Who knows what that magic could have done! That could have blinded us for life or burned the skin right off our bones!" Brandy had been more cautious of magic due to his experience working with it when brewing potions. He had spent many hard days brewing potions with his family, and he knew the consequences off it when taken lightly. His father was missing his left hand due to an over-powered Zit removal potion. At one point, mother’s hair wouldn’t stop growing for a three weeks when she used a whole bottle of Hair growth potion in one sitting. His grandfather was completely blind all because he added too many fungi to his Night-Light Potion. Brandy himself had obtained a large scar on his arm which formed the shape of the word 'SCAR' when helping his uncle create a rare (and illegal) ‘Living Potion’ which, if done correctly, will grow into a living, breathing, specimen (“and apparently, have a sense of humor” Brandy stated after seeing what his scar spelled out)The female genie now appeared to be panting for breath. Her face was brimming with red, but slowly turning tan again. “I’m sorry” she said. “I don’t what came over me. When I heard that name, I felt anger sweep up my body. I don’t know why, but I feel hatred for that person, even though I don’t have a clue what he’s ever done to me. She took a deep sigh. “Don’t worry. I think I can say the word “Fred” (She paused for a second, and then continued) without having an outbreak again.”Brandy and Bob could sense fear in her voice, like she was as frightened as they were, so they accepted her apology.
