The Explanation

The tall figure in red armour takes off his helmet to reveal a face filled with scars and anger. "WILL YOU TWO STOP FIGHTING!?" He roars.

The girl and Fred both stopped to see what the man had to say. "Astra; this man does not know you. Although he is indeed the one they call Lord Frederigo D'Honaire, he is not the one you know. After you two split up, Fred managed to stay alive and is still standing somewhere in this cave." He turned to Fred, "Fred. This woman knows 'you'. But not specifically... this you."

He walks closer to 'Astra' and Fred. "This cave has a magical enchantment put upon it, you see. Who it was cast by, even I do not know. There are different 'worlds', although they are the same in the physical sense. Our world is affected by the choices each one of us makes. Fred, if you were to run out of this cave right now, Allaria would still have a dragon problem. But if you killed it, it will be solved. But, these choices create different worlds. In one particular one, Fred has just ran out of the cave right now. Anyway, the enchantment means that purely within the cave, three dimensions merge together. So, the amount of dimensions is divided by three. This also means that there are 3 of each person in this world. Two other Astra's; one of them is chained up naked in a room. And of course, one other Fred-"

"But didn't you say three?" Astra began, but the formerly helmeted one stopped her.

"Indeed I did. I am the other Fred. Well, is there anything you didn't understand about that?" Said formerly-helmeted one, the other Fred.

1. Fred says, "I didn't get any of that."
2. Fred says, "Confusing, but I got the gist of it."
