The Dead Dragon

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 5023

Sir Seeker checks his 'computer'. "Uh oh." he says. "This is bad. It seems the dragon has somehow taken...oh god."
"What?" demanded Lord Fred.
"The dragon has killed Satan and now rules Hell!"
A blast of pure force atomizes the wall behind Sir Seeker. He helps and leaps over the desk. Lord Fred sees that the back of the shirt is gone and his skin is an ugly red.
Outside the walls are three hulking, nasty warriors. They drooled fire and spit blood. They raised their swords and charged.

Fred and Astra moved as one. They heaved the desk at the just the right moment, stunning the three creatures. They turn and run for a side exit, Seeker at their heels. Astra slams the door and Seeker locks it.

A sword pops through the wood.
"Which way do we go?" said Astra.
Sir Seeker pushed himself off the wall. "This way!" he said and ran off.
As they followed him down multiple halls, they heard thumps, explosions and the gut-wrenching screams of men in pain.
Sir Seeker pushed the two of them into a room marked 'Generator'.
"There's an emergency transport system in the exact middle of the room! It's a blue square in the floor. Get on it and you'll be transported to safety. I gotta go!"
Fred and Astra pause at the edge of the blue square. What are they running for? They are warriors! They should be helping in the fight!

  1. Fred and Astra pursue Sir Seeker.
  2. A nasty explosion rocks the floor and Fred and Astra fall into the transport.
  3. Something else?
