Looking Up The Staircase

The staircase is not much to look at. About twenty feet up it curves back in on itself. The walls are brown and scuffed. The carpet on the stairs is worn out and ratty. There are even a few pee spots.

You decide to get onto the staircase. Strangely, no one made a landing here. This is just a curved section of the stairs winding up from the floor and into the celing. Tall bannisters made of curved wood block your way. They end at the celing. You grasp a bannister and swing yourself over the top!

(Author's note: Yes, that's right, our person swung themselves over the top of the bannister. That part of the story always cheesed me off. The choice is essentially go up or down but if you go up, you get stuck in the bannister and sooner or later you end up falling down! Sheesh! Anyway)

You are now standing on the stairs. You take a deep breath, pocket a penny left in a crack and...

1. go up. Yay!
2. sit for a spell.
3. become stuck in the bannister anyway.
4. encounter Sir Toby and Velus. Seems Extend A Story is invading Addventure! It's war!
5. get hit in the face with a pit. (Mmmm, pie).
