Fred did not much like being in a female body, but he supposed that the
spirit - or whatever it was - aiding him had not had much choice. As far
as he knew, the only others anywhere nearby were Carola and the old and
weak Qundarian.
He wondered where Belinda's own mind was now that he had - temporarily only, he hoped - taken over her body. He also wondered how the drug that Astra had given her sisters had been counteracted. [15905] But he didn't have the time to think about that. Clumsily, in the unfamiliar body, he advanced. He had the advantage of surprise, for Astra's back was turned to him as she knelt over his "real" body. But that was his only advantage. Astra was armed and armoured, and he was not, since Belinda had recently been the Dragon's prisoner. And if it should come to unarmed combat, Astra was almost certainly superior at that too, especially as he was still struggling a little with Belinda's unfamiliar body.
