Scott, who is now normal again, works as a Guest Relation Serviceman for a
big, impersonal, chain bookstore that only carries the current bestsellers
and has crap and more crap in the way of older books, can't anyone just
carry old Kurt Vonnegut is it that hard?
So after Lots42 has another lie-down, Josh, as a spirit, follows Scott
through the high, sparesly stocked shelves.
Josh shakes his ghostly head as he realizes most of the books are facing
outward already. Don't these people stock?
Then Josh...
-
throws a paperback at Scott's head.
-
makes weird fart noises over the P.A. system.
-
uses his spectral powers so every time a kid exits the Children's Section, there is a monster growl.
-
makes Scott hallucinate that the customer's faces are melting.
-
rearranges things so Michael Moore's books are in 'Fiction'. Har har har.
-
Who knew Josh was a meany conservative?
-
rearranges things so Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh's books are in 'Comedy'.
-
Who knew Josh was a whiny liberal?
