Astra's Ghost

Fred noticed that her ghost was all in one piece. He had wondered whether she would need to pick up her head and carry it under her arm.

"Look behind you," he said. "There's your body lying there, with blood pumping from its severed neck, and your head has fallen in the carefully placed basket. You're a ghost now like me. The executioner can't see you; the Dragon can't see you; only other ghosts and a few sensitive mortals like Qundarian can see you now."

1. Fred went on: "Let me tell you what it's like to be a ghost."
2. Fred went on: "Let me introduce you to Khakaa."
3. Astra said...
4. "But I can see you, the both of you, and hear you too," the Dragon said.
