"This mage just materialised," Xyllis replied. "He seems to think that he's someone very important, though I've never heard of him. He appears to know these two bawdy girls, and he claims that they really are who they say they are. I've explained to him that that is quite impossible, for several reasons, but he insists. However, since he is willing to take them off our hands, perhaps we should let him take them with him?"

1. "All right. Then they will be his problem rather than ours."
2. "Not until I understand what is going on. If he believes that one of these girls is my daughter, then I want to know why."
3. "Could he have been using these poor girls as part of a plot to destabilize the Matriarchy? Now that he knows that it is not working, he wants them back."
