Vincent is Angry

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 48546

When Vincent caught sight of Astra and Fred he looked relieved and said: "Ah, there you are! I've tracked you down at last. I'm so sorry about that. I don't know what went wrong."

"Why, it's that darling Dr Vincent," Astra said, smiling enticingly.

"Won't you let us show you a good time?" Fred(a) asked.

An expression of consternation came over Vincent's face. It was quickly replaced by one of anger. "What have you done to them?" he asked Xyllis.

Xyliss was taken aback. Who was this strange old man? He was obviously a powerful mage, to have materialised like that. And he clearly was connected to the bawdy girls. Xyliss came to the natural, but wrong, conclusion. "The girls belong to you, I assume," she said. "Their collars are nice work. I don't know how they came here, but I'd be only too pleased if you would take them off my hands."

"You haven't answered my question," Vincent said. "What have you done to them?"

"Well, somebody had obviously interfered with them, and given them strange delusions that they were really our own Princess Astra and some lord from Allaria. I tried to remove that, but had only limited success. However, I'm confident that what I did will mean that, over time, their madness will gradually fade away."

"Fool! What you call their madness is their real identities. These really are Princess Astra and Lord Frederigo D'Honaire."

"Not according to my magical tests."

"Do you think that your own knowledge of magic is the equal of mine? I am Doctor Preeminencius Emeritus Vincenzio Haroldan Maude Van Damme Uber Priceless."

  1. "Yes, I do."
  2. "My humble apologies, Doctor Vincent. I know what a great mage you are. Is there anything that I can do to help put things right?"
  3. "Never heard of you."
