  2. "You are right," Spock said. "My apologies, Lieutentant." He reached across and applied a Vulcan Nerve Pinch. Everything went black for Fred.
  3. "You are right," Spock said. "My apologies, Lieutentant, but you must remain behind with Ensign LeClerc and the orderly. If your parasite can transmit, then their position will already be known, so nothing will be lost."
