Collars Removed

"Mine too," Fred confirmed.

"The instruments of control have been removed," said the woman in the chair, clutching the orb which still glowed (albeit much more dimly). "He who wished to control you has been thwarted - for now."

"You have our eternal thanks, my lady," Fred said, bowing low.

"Yes," Astra said. She added, "Have you fought Dr. Vincent before?"

1. "Indeed," she said. "He has plagued this world many times."
2. "I have never seen him before," she said. "But I recognized the evil bore."
3. "This is not who you think it is," she replied gravely. "It is someone - and something - far worse."
4. Before she could reply, the collars re-appeared.
5. She only smiled as the orb began to pulse and Fred and Astra began to change again - but not into Carnage Beasts.
