Pronklezilch is Angry

One evening Rudolf held a party. Amongst the guests was Pronklezilch. Not that he and Rudolf were on very good terms, but since all the other important people in the locality had been invited he could hardly have been excluded without causing offence. And one doesn't want to offend a wizard.

Looking out of the ballroom window at the terrace, Pronklezilch saw the statues, illuminated by the last rays of the setting sun. So that's what happened to them, he thought. No wonder Candy was so evasive about where they had gone. She had no right to give them to this upstart of a lordling. They're much too fine for him. What should I do with them?

Pronklezilch cast a spell.

1. The statues were transported to his own residence.
2. Very stiffly at first, then a little more freely, the statues began to move.
3. The statues reverted to flesh and blood. Fred(a) and Astra retained their original personalities and memories, and were very annoyed at having been transformed into petite damsels.
4. The statues reverted to flesh and blood. Pronklezilch had supplied them with false memories. They were bawdy girls who had been brought to Rudolf's estate for the party to see to the needs of his guests, but Mistress Candida had then refused to pay them.
