There were a couple of things that could explain what happened next. Maybe
the influence of the Febreze fumes hadn't quite gone away. Or maybe, the
fact that he had killed three people sent his already unstable brain over
the edge. In Josh's case, the latter was more likely. Instead of disposing with the body, he pokes it with a stick to see if anything happens. Apart from excreting a few more smelly and disgusting bodily fluids, not a lot actually does. Not that that would surprise most people. So he pokes it several more times, as if he expected it to go 'ow', or something. Needless-to-say, it didn't. All it did was lay in a pool of its own blood and other icky things. So Josh started ranting and raving at the body to see if that got any reaction from the body. Not a thing. So what does Josh do next?
