"Josh!" cried the younger boy. "Step away from the doors!" The wide, stainless-steel lined doors were writhing and expanding, as if the metal and the glass had somehow become skin of a horrible beast. Jake noted clearly that there many things, none human, reflected in the glass that were not in the reality of the small courtyard. Josh stutters something and steps back. The doors continue to expand.
