The ghost then rose from the ground once again. She was silent this time, but her presence
alone filled Astra with sadness. She pointed to the tunnel, and a pale but steady light
flickered into being in the tunnel. Then she descended once more.
It seemed that the ghost would not lead her up the tunnel, then. Astra wondered why it seemed that the ghost could not appear for more than a minute at a time, and how it is that she could understand what Astra had been saying considering that they did not seem to understand her language. But that did not matter. For now, she had to solve the problem of how to carry the bones up the tunnel. It seemed barely large enough to fit her, and without a pack she would have to carry the bones in her arms, making it even more difficult.
