Fred Has Qualms

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 46679

Fred was not the sort of man who liked his steaks rare. Like most Allarians, he preferred his meat just the right side of burnt to a crisp. "I'm not eating raw meat," he said.

"The snake has assured me that it won't cause us any ill effects," Astra told him. "We have to eat, and there doesn't seem to be any alternative source of food available."

"Astra, you know that I would trust you with my life. But I won't trust even you - or I suppose it's really that snake - with my stomach."

  1. Astra eats the raw meat. Fred does not, and looks the other way whilst she does so as it's not a sight for the squeamish.
  2. The snake manages to "talk" directly to Fred, in an attempt to convince him.
