And the denizens of the caves that I have encountered, orcs and the like, have possessed minimal conversational skills. Thus there has been no opportunity for anyone to tell me anything. Therefore all that I know of the world beyond these caves I have had to learn from books." "What?! But surely that's impossible. How far back can you remember?"
