Fred looked up in surprise. "Hello, Amy," he said. "I didn't expect you
back so soon. Did you manage to get any water?"
Amy felt a little foolish, but of course she was not about to reveal the true reason for her hasty return. "I found some water," she said. "But I didn't have anything to carry it in. Could I perhaps borrow your breastplate or some other piece of your armour? I might be able to bring some water back in that."
