A Refusal Often Offends

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 46203

Gur Rathka has regained sufficient awareness to cry out: "Your Highness, don't do it!" That earns him more blows to the head, but it is enough to make up your mind. You suspect that Iskandr would rather fight a war than finish under the rule of the Jed of Xodar. "I refuse," you say. Soon you and Gur Rathka are imprisoned in adjacent dungeon cells. You would find it comforting to talk to him, but unfortunately he is unconscious from the blows that he has received. You hope he has not been seriously injured.

You start to hear the sound of explosions, distant at first but growing steadily closer. You assume that battle has been joined by the opposing fleets.

  1. The fleet of Iskandr wins.
  2. The Xodarian fleet wins.
  3. The dungeon takes a direct hit, reducing the outer wall of your cell to rubble. The adjacent cell is undamaged, however.
  4. The dungeon takes a direct hit, reducing most of the cell-block you are in to rubble.
