She instinctively shut her eyes, not that that would help when she hit the cavern floor she realised. But she didn't break every bone in her body as she had expected, because she landed on something soft.

Soft and warm, she realised. Then whatever it was let out a string of curses. Amy opened her eyes, and found that she had landed on the massive Vashkoda! She was back in the cavern from which she and Rami had been taken. Presumably she had arrived by the chute in the roof by which the girls were provided with their food.

"Shit, it's you again," Vashkoda grumbled.

"Are you all right?" Amy asked, as she clambered to her feet.

Vashkoda also got up. "By some miracle, I don't seem to have any broken bones," she said. "But if my bruises weren't too painful for me to exert myself, I'd rip your stupid head off. What are you doing back here anyway?"

By this time, the other women (and elves and dwarves, etc, etc) were gathering round. "Poliphera was right after all," Amy said. "That was why we were taken. But apparently the dragon only needs one of us, and I got rejected and sent back here for trying to brain Yala with a statue."

"Who's Yala?" Exotica asked.

"Some old hag who's working for the dragon. But we've got to rescue Rami."

"How?" Astra asked. "We can't get out of this cavern, remember."

1. Someone unexpectedly comes up with an idea as to how they might escape.
2. There's a fight to claim Amy's towel, now lying on the floor a short distance away, as it's the only item of "clothing" in the place.
3. Meanwhile Rami...
