Roger reached into a dresser drawer and withdrew a black 9 mm handgun. He
pointed it at Scott and pulled the trigger. Feathers went flying as a
bullet ripped into one of the overstuffed pillows, mere inches from
Scott’s head. Krissy screamed and dove under the covers. Roger fired again, hitting the spot where Scott had just been moments before. But a stark-naked Scott was already on his feet and making his way to the only other way out of the room; the window. He made it, but then realized he’d have to fall several stories to the ground. Roger laughed, a deranged smile on his sullen, pale face. “Where ya goin’, scumbag?” he taunted him.Scott gulped. “Please don’t do this,” he pleaded desperately. “There’s no reason to resort to violence. I swear if you just let me go I’ll...” Another gunshot rang out and the window behind Scott shattered. “SHUT UP!” Roger roared. “SHUT YOUR DIRTY MOUTH!”Scott closed his eyes as Roger came nearer and pressed the cold barrel of the gun against his face. “Bye, bye, scumbag...” POW!!!Scott opened his eyes. Roger was on the ground, bleeding from a pretty nasty headwound. Krissy stood behind him, a golf club still clenched in her fists. Scott leaned out the window and vomited. “Oh my God, Roger!” Krissy was screaming at her unconscious man. “I can’t believe you were going to shoot him! You are such a baby sometimes!”Scott was finally drifting back to reality. “Whoah, hey, Krissy, we gotta call 911!” He bent down to check Rogers pulse. Oh...SHIT. “He’s dead...” Krissy dropped the golf club. “I didn’t mean to!” she cried horrifically. “We can’t call the cops, Scott! I can’t go to prison! Quick, help me dispose of the body!”
