The tunnel goes up and down and left and right for several minutes. It is dark and damp and cold. Several times Fred almost fell due to irregularities in the floor.
Then Velus is seen...

  1. laying on an altar. Breathing.
  2. Being packaged into a doggy carrier by strange, frightening entities. Fred punched the entities until they fell down.
  3. being worshipped as a god in a large room decorated in all purple.
  4. being chased by angry, spear weilding orcs.
