Strange Snake

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 44715

The pair were confused. The snake had coiled its entire length around Astra's leg, but had just stopped. The only movement was its tongue flickering in and out. Astra felt she shouldn't try and remove it, for fear it would attack. However, she couldn't stand still indefinately, having to move some time.

The minutes passed, and the snake showed no sign of either uncoiling or striking so she took a tentative first step. No visible reaction from the snake. Another step, and still no reaction. Eventually, Astra plucked up enough courage to try and set a steady pace as well as she could encumbered by the snake.

  1. Eventually the snake uncoils itself and slithers off.
  2. As above, but it soon returns...
  3. It seems, for whatever reason, Astra is stuck with the snake for the foreseeable future.
