Yet Another Dream for Astra

Astra had rarely had memorable dreams before, but now she seemed to be
having one almost every night. On this occasion she dreamt that she was
surrounded by seven pillars of golden light, which she somehow knew were
the Spirits who were worshipped by Anbana's people.
You and your companion have done very well, they told her. We are grateful to you. But you should not return to the village, for there are some there who believe that you are demons and who wish you harm. We will let Anbana know that the curse has been lifted. Instead of going there you should go westward along the southern shore of the great lake. Before Astra could ask whether that would take them in the direction of their homes (which seemed on the face of it unlikely), the Spirits vanished. She slept peacefully for the rest of the night. In the morning, she told Fred about her dream, which she could still remember vividly.
