A Lap Dance is So Much Better When the Stripper is Crying

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 43967

"Um, Mr. Venom?" Scott manages to stammer as Venom's tendrils swing him through the air.
"What it is, you piece of shit?" snaps Venom.
"I just wanted to tell you that Spider-Man's plans to defeat you involves lasers...what, Josh?!"

Josh was frantically waving both hands at Scott when he realized that he was giving away Spidey's plan of attack. Regardless, Venom wasn't impressed. "Lasers, you say? BAH! If Parker's best approach involves lasers, then he may as well concede defeat right now! And that means I get to kill you two losers right now!"

Actually, Spider-Man had lied. He did have a plan, but it certainly did not involve lasers. It did, however, span to another universe. Let's just say Spider-Man has the world's finest plan for taking down Venom. And just as planned, a mysterious object comes from out of the darkness, connecting squarely with Venom's skull.

Meanwhile, Josh and Scott have been freed by a bright blue blur. They quickly realize what is going on when they see none other than Superman and Batman standing over the prone Venom as he lies sprawled on the stage, secured by webbing, and having no idea where he even is. Spider-Man swings down to join them. For the sake of balance, Daredevil emerges from another dark corner of the theater.

"We did good, gentlemen," says Superman. "I'll take care of the boys. Spider-Man, you can contact the proper authorities for dealing with Venom, as we're not too sure what we'd do with him on our world."
"Trust me, I could find a dozen ways to take this Venom cretin down in just a matter of hours," replies Batman. "All you need is enough incentive."
"Cold and calculating as always," adds Spider-Man. "Let me skedaddle over to a phone so I can call for some backup. Venom usually needs an army to get him into custody. I'm sure the Avengers have enough time to help out!"

  1. Josh and Scott annoy Superman fairly quickly.
  2. Scott asks why Batman never "lightens up".
  3. Meanwhile, two random DC and two random Marvel characters are taking down another villian. Josh and Scott somehow get into the middle of this one.
  4. Venom begins babbling about the time he tried to fight with Hal Jordan, but got his clock cleaned.
