The Never Ending Quest - Episode 4218

Two men came into the room. One of them had a bandaged arm, presumably as a result of his part in overcoming Astra. "The woman fought amazingly well," said the injured man to his companion. "Punching with one hand, and the sword that she took from her companion when he fell in her other hand. And I'm not sure which hand was the more dangerous." "A pity your archer was not a better shot - just one arrow on target! Had he managed to hit the woman, life would have been much simpler." "Why did you and your men surround them so quickly, instead of holding back for a bit?" replied the other. "He could only shoot more arrows at the risk of hitting our own people."

Lost in their argument, the men seemed to have forgotten about their captives, but now one of them belatedly noticed that Fred was conscious. He said:

  1. "You realise that, having strayed into - and thereby defiled - a holy place, the lives of you and the woman are forfeit?"
  2. "A profitable night's work. You should fetch a hundred gold pieces as a slave, the woman probably more."
  3. "Are you going to tell us what you know, or are we going to have to torture you?" Know? What was he supposed to know?
