“You go for the eyes!” Fred shouted back. “I’ll hold it off!” Astra shook her head. “That’s what I just said, dimwit!” “Right! I was just reaffirming our strategy! It never hurts to reaffirm one’s strategy. I guess I’ll go ahead with part one of our plan, holding it off.”“You do that.” “Okay. Here I go.”A few seconds passed, and Fred just stood there. Astra was growing more and more exasperated with each passing second.“What are you waiting for!?” she gasped. “I’m waiting for the right moment to present itself. Now just to be clear, I’m going to hold it off and while I do that you’re going to go for it’s eyes. Right? Our plan hasn’t changed, has it?”“NO!” “No our plan hasn’t changed or no I’m not to hold it off?”Pushing the lack-witted man out of her way, Astra charged the machine head on. With only her bare hands she laid waste to the machine, blow after deadly blow, until nothing remained of it but a bunch of twisted metal shards. She then slumped to the ground, exhausted.Fred’s jaw dropped. “Wow! Did you see that!? You just totally kicked that thing’s ass! Did you see that, Astra!? Huh!? Huh, Astra!? Astra! Hey, did you see that!?” “YES! I SAW THAT! NOW LEAVE ME ALONE FOR A MINUTE!”Fred wisely did so, and instead turned his attention toward the man whose throat Astra had cut. “Did you see tha - er, I guess not. Well I really wish you would have. She was like, wam! BAM! BAM! WAM! WAM! BAM! It was so cool! I mean, it was probably the coolest thing I’ve ever seen! Wow!” Astra struggled back up to her feet. “I don’t think he can hear you, Fred.”But that didn’t seem to matter, as he continued to relate the story to the fallen guard even as blood still pooled around his mutilated neck. Eventually...
