What is the Connection?

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 42036

There was no sign of the ring, but Astra did not think that it could have been destroyed. If the mage had had an evil master, as she suspected, perhaps he had somehow called the ring back to him?

She felt that the mage having her grandmother's ring had to be more than a coincidence. Had he somehow used her connection to it to teleport her here? If so, what had he wanted her for?

It seemed highly unlikely that she would ever get any answers to her questions. Wherever the ring was now, she had no way of finding it again. Unless the robe held some clue...

She had already searched through its pockets and found nothing of interest. Now she searched it more thoroughly, feeling inside it just in case something had been stitched up inside the lining.
