The Never Ending Quest - Episode 41971

Fred had recovered from his concussion, but he had no memory of what had happened after he had unwisely stepped off the edge of the cliff, so Astra explained to him how they had arrived in the cave.

"I'm awfully sorry," he apologised to Astra.

"No apology is necessary. If I had wanted to, I could have broken free, but I figured that it was better to have my feet out of the snow. And you headed in the right direction: down. We're below the tree-line now, and even outside this cave it's not as cold as it was higher up."

  1. They move on.
  2. A secret door opens in the back of the cave. Out of it comes...
  3. Fred shifts his position, and accidentally depresses a hidden control. A door slides open in the cave wall.
