Physically he was ok. Mentally, he seemed to think Astra was some sort of mailbag to deliver to the village.
Astra shrugged as she was carried along, Velus swiftly following. At least her feet was out of the cold.
A few minutes later, another stroke of good luck as Fred became convinced a smaller, oval shaped cave was the village. Fred deposited Astra in the corner, turned around three times and fainted.
It was cool inside this dirty, dank mess in the side of a tree-filled hill but not cold enough as to be dangerous.
Astra set Fred up against the farthest wall, made a pile of moss and set Velus to gaurd duty. She used a meditation technique as she curled up on the moss and was soon asleep.

  1. When she awoke, Fred was better.
  2. Traveling entertainers find them, as they also knew of the cave. Astra gets clothes and Fred is treated in the medic trailer.
