Considering it was a broken arm, the paramedics (all three lions) allow Stacy to come with. This was not the usual thing, as Stacy understood ambulances, but this was not an usual world.
The bobcat, through a haze of morphine, introduces himself as Jacob Ironson, a.c. repair apprentice.

  1. Stacy hold's the bobcat's uninjured arm as he is treated.
  2. Stacy takes the opportunity and tells one of the lions that she herself is ill.
  3. The ambulance enters a strange city, unfamiliar to all and completely devoid of life forms.
  4. The bobcat remembers Stacy as fellow charity volunteer for elderly skunk-morphs.
