Totally desperate by now, and hampered by a lack of common sense, Josh
stashes Scott's body deep in the staircase room linen closet, then locks
the door. As if that wasn't dumb enough, he stacks all of the
furniture in this particular bedroom against the linen closet door! Next, Josh lays down razor wire, warning signs, landmines, and everything else he can think of. After that, he locks the bedroom door. Now, Josh is standing in the main staircase room. He quickly gets to work on boarding this door shut with the spare lumber that was on hand. Why the staircase room had a big surplus of boards was a mystery, but Josh was certainly glad for it. Josh was also certainly glad that there was a big supply of bricks in yet another spare bedroom, so he finishes the job by building a brick wall over the wooden planks that were placed over the bedroom door containing the linen closet with Scott's body inside. Then, he sloppily pastes wallpaper on the bricks, and calls it a day.
