The Mayor nor Velus knew where to find the dragon within the laberynth of
the caves. But the threesome (those two plus Astra) began to descend
hoping to find some way of finding out. They only descended two levels
when they heard the grunts and huffs of orcs. These creatures were close
by and no one in the search party wanted to bump into them. The way was
dark, though both the Mayor and Velus (animals) had less trouble than
Astra.
Suddenly Astra made a decision. "This is useless," she whispered. "Lets get out of here, go to my home and get reinforcements." Perhaps the Mayor and the boy would have agreed, but instead of their animal voices, it was a heavy gruff voice that responded: "Sounds good to me," it said. Astra found herself staring into the face of a big, mean orc!
