The Never Ending Quest - Episode 41015

Three days later...

Lord Fred and his newfound comrade in arms, the murderous Jack the rapist, son of Satan, had made good progress. I’m sure you’re asking yourself, ‘why would Fred just up and abandon his sacred Quest for a measly 20 bucks’? Well, shut up. Don’t question it, just accept it. It may hurt a little at first, but you’ll get used to it. It might even start to feel good after awhile.

Fred, though at first apprehensive about Jack, had eventually grown more comfortable with the psychopath. He was amazed at how many things they shared in common. For instance, they both breathed air. Actually...that was about it. But they got along, nonetheless. Well, at least Jack hadn’t murdered him yet or defiled his corpse or anything like that.

They gradually made their way northwards, through the gray foothills that surrounded the southern caves, and deeper into the Great Kingdom from which Fred hailed. After the third night, they decided that camping out in the cold outdoors was getting a little old, and found themselves a wayside inn.

A sign outside the quaint establishment read:

The Weary Whoremonger

The innkeeper, a man named Bruno the Recovering Alcoholic, showed them to their modest quarters. They couldn’t afford separate rooms, even though Fred was one of the wealthiest Lords in the land. He was quite the penny pincher, you see, in case you haven’t noticed. Fred immediately fell asleep on his cot, while Jack...did something else...

  1. Fred awoke to the sound of blood-curdling cries coming from the main lobby of the inn...
